Credit Karma CEO Kenneth Lin receives EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award

Award recognizes Lin’s “extraordinary success” as founder of Credit Karma

The EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards, now in their 29th year, are chosen by an independent panel of judges. The awards recognize outstanding entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Previous winners include Starbucks founder Howard Schultz, LinkedIn’s Reid Hoffman and Jeff Weiner and eBay’s Pierre Omidyar.For Credit Karma, the EY Entrepreneur of the Year award caps an impressive run of recent accolades. The company was a gold medalist at the Edison Awards in April, was named one of the Best Places To Work by the San Francisco Business Times and won PYMNTS.com Innovator Awards in 2013 and 2014. Lin will now be eligible for consideration for EY’s National Entrepreneur of the Year award.
