What we are looking for:

  • 15+ years of experience in a highly quantitative role, turning data into business insights with 5+ years in an executive role leading a large Analytics Organization.
  • Prior experience effectively managing, scaling, motivating and developing a strong team in a dynamic and highly matrixed organization.
  • Experience leading business and technology transformation, strategic planning, and driving implementation of transformative vision.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex analytical insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Track record of successful leadership to drive results and proactively manage change in a complex and dynamic organizational, technological, and operating environment.
  • Strong knowledge of technology stacks covering comprehensive data platforms and analytics platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of data modeling principles, including schema design and dimensional data modeling, with experience in writing efficient SQL queries.
  • Experience with data processing, storage, and querying technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Flink Streaming, Bigquery, Dataflow, Airflow, Bigtable, Spanner and Dynamo) and object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++).
  • Experience with semantic search (e.g vertex ai search, AWS cloud search) and knowledge graph (e.g neo4j,) to integrate our data with generative AI experiences  
  • Strong background in data analysis, with experience identifying data gaps and inconsistencies, and communicating data warehouse plans to internal customers.
  • Ability to architect and develop scalable data solutions, staying ahead of industry trends and integrating best practices in data engineering.
  • Excellent technical communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive technical innovation in data engineering.

As our Staff Architect for AI Applications, you will join the senior architecture team at Credit Karma and lead a technology roadmap that matures our AI capabilities, working with product leadership to power intelligent experiences that make it easier for our members to achieve their financial goals.  This is a challenging role. As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be driving member adoption and engagement by delivering key go-to-market strategies and plans across our portfolio of financial wellness offerings, including credit monitoring and improvement, financial product marketplaces, and more. The Opportunity

Credit Karma aims to engage with its members through a best in class email and push notification experience. As the business and member base grows the notifications ecosystem has become more advanced and complex. To ensure the channel is a long term driver of business growth it is critical to centralize key technical operations, planning, coordination, and communication. The program manager for the notifications channel provides that centralizing function to unlock channel improvement and marketing efficiency.

You’ll partner closely with marketing and product leadership on goal setting, roadmap execution, project reporting, risk management, and team productivity. What you’ll do:

  • You will work with the latest IOS frameworks, design patterns, and technologies
  • You will help guide the features and direction of the app with your own ideas
  • You will develop IOS applications and write your own APIs in GraphQL
  • You will collaborate with iOS, Web, and Backend engineering teams
  • You will ensure high quality, performance, and responsiveness of the application
  • You will implement metrics and dashboards to empower data-driven decisions
  • You will work with Product, Analytics, Design, Security, Data, Machine Learning, and other teams

  • Comfortable with data analytics, testing tools, and A/B testing methodology
  • Experience with the full software development life cycle and continuous integration

The Insurance team at Credit Karma  helps users find the best available insurance through multiple market first and innovative products like Drive Score, Embedded offer and more. We work on projects that really do influence millions of users, helping them navigate the complex selection of insurance. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you’d have the enormous opportunity to build things at scale, move fast and have a high impact across many different products.

What you’ll do

  • Own the front-end development for a suite of products
  • Drive architectural decisions, promote best practices and ensure long-term maintainability
  • Lead, mentor and inspire a team of Frontend engineers to build high-quality products
  • Develop, maintain and advocate Frontend code quality standards and best practices. Teach and reinforce these principles through code review
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate application performance across various devices and browsers
  • Partner with other developers, product managers, designers and leadership to launch new products, iterate on existing features, and build world-class user experience
  • Architect and implement scalable frontend applications and micro-frontends
  • Implement advanced tooling and instrumentation for proactive performance tuning
  • Proactively identify and mitigate cross-team dependencies

What we are looking for:

  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, specializing in frontend development with React
  • Deep expertise in modern Frontend technologies, including advanced JavaScript, TypeScript for type safety, CSS Mastery and bundlers like Webpack for optimized builds and responsive web design principles
  • Performance Optimization: Proven track record in web performance tuning using React Profiler, Lighthouse, and Webpack Bundle Analyzer. Strong focus on fast load times, memory efficiency, and rendering optimization
  • Microservices Frontend Architecture: Experience in designing and implementing scalable microservices frontend solutions using frameworks like Next.js for SSR/SSG
  • CI/CD & DevOps Practices: Hands-on experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and CircleCI for automated testing and deployment

What we’d like to see

  • Proficiency in Node (both Frontend and Backend)
  • Proficiency with GraphQL
  • Experience with A/B testing
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Cloud & Containerization: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for scalable and resilient frontend applications
